Scarf ZELDA in mustard yellow is made of 100% alpaca fair traded from Peru. With aproximately 200 grams of weight, the scarf is very warming and comfortable to wear on your skin at the same time.

Social, economic, ecologic and cultural responsibility is very important to us. The scarf made of alpaca yarn is hand machine knitted on demand in Hamburg, Germany.
The yarn is made of 100% Alpaca (from South America) and spun in Italy. It is sourced from lamana GmbH from Bielefeld, Germany. Lamana guarantees appropriate keeping of the alpaca in the peruvian highlands. They also promote fair working conditions, no child labour and the use of certified non health damaging colouring agents by visiting the farms and production on a regular basis.
The clothing labels are made and embroidered of cotton, they're produced by DORTEX in Germany.
The scarf is produced without any harmful additives or plastic substances and is therefore completely recyclable.
The price consists of material cost ( 72,50€ / 1kg Alpaca yarn) at a material use of approximately 200g and the care / product labels, loan cost of approximately 3-4 hours of knitting and finishing plus a provision to Squarespace of 2-5% depending on the payment option chosen. There is a plus of a marging of 2,5 which covers other costs as atelier rent or purchase of machines.

Please take into consideration that the colour of the yarn used in the sweater may seem different to the original depending on the brightness of your screen and the dyeing lot.

The alpaca fibre is naturally odour and dirt resistant so don't wash too often. Air it out instead, or simply give it a cold hand wash with a gentle detergent and dry flat.
