With Which Carrier do you ship?
We ship with DHL GoGreen, meaning your parcels will be shipped exclusively by them within Germany. Outside of Germany they collaborate with local carriers. There will be a shipping number for you to follow the status of your parcel including insurance.
DHL GoGreen is a project initiated by the Deutsche Post / DHL. GoGreen supports environmental projects with the supplement on regular shipping prices. By doing that they hope to neutralize the CO2-emissions emitted in the process of shipping your order. More information: https://www.dhl.de/en/privatkunden/kampagnenseiten/dhl-nachhaltigkeit.html
How long does it take you to make a product on demand / made to order?
Your customized product will be shipped after a maximum of two weeks of production time. If you need your knitwear faster, please let us know and we’ll make it happen.
In how far can I have your products customized?
We do knitwear on demand, you can choose freely from the colours available for the yarn type. You can of course also give specific measurements if you don’t like the standard sizes. If that’s not enough, we can also work together on a garment design and make it specifically according to your wishes. There are almost no limits.
Where do you donate to and how?
We donate to different projects, specifically chosen according to the product. The projects themselves and why we chose them will be mentioned in blog posts in our Journal.
How do you consider your label to be „timeless, artisanal and responsible“?
We consider faible and failure as a label trying to improve working conditions in the fashion industry by embracing slowness, empowering the (mostly) women working in the industry, short supply chains and mostly production on demand in order not to strain the environment even more. Lastly we work closely with our suppliers and source exclusively organic yarns and fabrics to ensure the highest quality we can provide.
Where are your garments made?
All knitwear is handmade in Hamburg, Germany. Either by hand knitting or on a hand knitting machine such as the Brother KH970. The vintage garments are sourced mainly from recycling garment initiatives in Hamburg, some are from our personal background, others are vintage fabrics but needed a bit of work and tweaking. The embroidered T-Shirts come from a company based in Belgium that work together closely with the Fair Wear Cooperation to improve working conditions in Bangladesh. The embroidery is done in Hamburg. More information on the products is available in the specific product description.
Are you selling offline?
We occasionally cooperate with shops to showcase our products offline. News will be available on our social media as well as in the Journal.
Can I visit your Studio?
